If your schedule permits, we hope you'll spend Friday night in town, as we are planning events on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon. (Remember that Monday, October 10 is Columbus Day.)

Unfortunately the fall is an extremely popular time of year to visit New England, so hotel rates in Cambridge and Boston are quite high. We recommend that you stay with friends in the area if possible. If you are attending alone, you might consider sharing a hotel room with another guest—we've only invited nice people!

We have reserved rooms at the Charles Hotel for $279/night (please see the details on making reservations). While expensive, the hotel is centrally located in Harvard Square and is within walking distance of all wedding events. The shuttle from the service at Christ Church to the reception at the Boston Public Library will make several return trips to the Charles later in the evening.

Other hotel options in Cambridge:

The Harvard Square Hotel is the most affordable choice in the Square. Rates are around $240 per night, however accommodations are very basic.
Slightly further afield, the Le Méridien Cambridge-MIT is a short taxi or bus ride from the events around Harvard Square and the reception at the Boston Public Library. Rates are around $160/night.

There are also many hotels in Copley Square, near the Boston Public Library. The Lenox, the Courtyard Boston Copley Square, the Boston Marriott Copley Place, and the Fairmont Copley Plaza are very close by and range from $239 to $339/night. Please keep in mind that a taxi to the service and all other events in Cambridge will cost approximately $15 to $20 each way.
